The galvanized rainwater tank from LVJIA is built on the Hot Dipped Galvanized panel system at our own plant in Dezhou, Shandong. Harvested water arrives dirty and in bursts, so the tank has to filter what comes in and keep it clean once it is there.
A galvanized rainwater tank is a pressed steel sectional tank finished by hot-dip galvanising after the panels are formed. That order matters: because the zinc goes on last, it covers every edge, bolt hole and stiffener the press leaves behind, instead of cracking off a pre-galvanised sheet the moment it is stamped. LVJIA builds it from 1 to 3000 m³, or 125 litres to 500,000 litres, on a bolted panel system.
Three details decide whether a harvesting scheme works. A first flush diverter sends the dirtiest water from the start of the storm to waste. A leaf filter at the inlet keeps debris out of the tank rather than out of the pump later. And a sealed roof with a screened vent stops light and mosquitoes reaching the stored water. Get those right and a galvanized tank will hold usable water for years with nothing but an annual clean.
Panels are pressed from 2 to 5 mm steel plate, ribbed for stiffness, then dipped whole in molten zinc. The coating is metallurgically bonded rather than painted on, so it does not peel and it keeps protecting the steel at a scratch. Joints are bolted through an external flange onto a food-grade gasket, and the tank ships flat in a plywood box or on an iron bracket. The plant is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, and the product carries CCC.
